Introduction

Paris in the early 1920s. Japanese artist Tsuguhuru Foujita meets Lucie Badoud, whobecomes his love and muse. But on the outbreak of WWⅡ Foujita is back in Japan, living with his young Japanese wife Kimiyo, who will remain with him until the end of his life. Foujita returns to France after the war to design the chapel in Reims, "Notre Dame de la paix".
