Introduction
Remake of "A Story of Floating Weeds" by Yasujiro Ozu.
A port on the Shima Peninsula. The head of a traveling theater troupe meets his son from a previous relationship. He does care for his son, but is concerned that his unstable life will be bad for the boy. Touchingly portrays his situation, tough affection, and the life of those around them.
